The Cadillac of German lagers, a Dortmunder is an exercise in balance. Hoppier than a helles, maltier than a pils, but a bit stronger than both, this pale lager showcases Bavarian heirloom malt, a traditional decoction mash schedule, and two varieties of noble hops. A soft, well-rounded malty sweetness finishes dry and light with a nice hop snap to keep you coming back for more.
